David Did Not Live In The Past

At Sunrise we recently took a look at the life of David found in I and II Samuel. In reading this story you will see that David had some very difficult days in his journey, but he did not dwell on the difficult days or live in these days. David did not live in the past. He learned, grew, owned up to mistakes and LIVED. You and I need not dwell on the past difficulties in our lives. We can learn, grow and LIVE. Count on this, you and I will have difficulties. May we choose not to dwell on the past, but instead dwell on LIFE.

You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6

The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
