Be Still - Steven Curtis Chapman

Psalm 46

1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
8 Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.

He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

A Weaving

My life is but a weaving, between my God and me.
I do not choose the colors, He worketh steadily.
Ofttimes He weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride,
Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside.

Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful in the skillful Weaver's hand,
as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

Matthew 9:27-31 - Eyes Opened

Two Blind Men Who Can See

The Easter Story - A Great Vid

The Story of Lent and Easter

You, Jesus...

You, Jesus, are my Teacher
You show me who I am
You tell me I am precious
You're there to hold my hand.

Your love is unconditional
No matter what I've done
When the Race is tired and long
You're there to help me run.

I've turned my back toward You
I've turned my face away
Yet even when I hide from You
You promise me You'll stay.

Your forgiveness is eternal
The flow will never end
Whatever sad mistakes I make
You're there to make amends.

I will be with You forever
By Your side eternally
Please help me to remember
Lord, that You chose me.
