I went to see the watchmen yesterday afternoon with a friend and fellow leader in Sunrise. Interesting. Passionate, dark, cruel, philosophical, intriguing, and the list goes. Scread (scim and read) the graphic novel last night. Interesting read and even more striking was the way it is pieced together. Creative, to say the least.This led me to pull out "The Graphic Bible" I purchased years ago.
Read the story of Elijah and Elisha this morn. Thrilling, convicting, passionate, sad, hopeful, and on the list goes. The illustrations, script, lettering and story are compelling. Thank God for the guys who put this together. If you have children go buy this book. Read it your children. Read it yourself. It will inspire you to walk with God and be a little more creative in your life at home and work. Enticing.
