Eight Helpful Hints for Healthy Communication with Your Child:
1.Think before you speak.
2. Stress the positive.
3. Deal with the negative in a very clear, concise and character building manner.
4. Spend time with your child.
5. Love your child even when you do not like what your child is doing or has done.
6. Apologize when you make a mistake or "blow it".
7. Keep in mind that parenting is not a dash it is a marathon.
8. Pray for yourself and your child daily.
